Birth Photography Perth - The homebirth of Priya

What an honour & privilege it is to be invited to capture a birth! 

I finally got the call we had all been waiting for around 5:30am on Sunday morning that Cindy was in labour! From the moment I got the call to the moment I left the driveway was 4 minutes (according to my husband)! I was so excited and anxious to get there, as Cindy's last two labours had been really quick, I was worried I wouldn't make it... well make it I did, with about 6 hours to spare!! 

Priya was born at 12:20 pm on Sunday the 25th of November, and I was there to capture every moment of it. I have to admit, I did shed a tear or two when she was born (lucky I was hiding behind my camera), it was one of the most beautiful moments of my life & I am definitely, well & truly addicted!

Christmas Mini Sessions!

I have decided to do a one day only Christmas Mini Session very special offer!

The Christmas mini sessions will be only $39!

This will include:

- A 20 minute Christmas Mini Session at my studio
- 3 x High Resolution Images
- 1 x Christmas Card Designed

The 3 Images & Christmas Card will be emailed to you with in a few days, so you can then print them yourself, or I can print them for you to be ready in time for Christmas.

The Christmas Mini Sessions will be held on one day only - Wednesday, December 12th from 9 am till 6 pm only. So please book in early to book the time you'd like and to avoid missing out.

This session is great for babies, children, couples & families. You can dress in Christmas themed clothing, wear a santa hat, or just dress in normal clothing and take advantage of this crazy $39 mini shoot price!

Newborn Session - Oliver

Oliver's mum & Dad bought little, 7 day old, Oliver into the studio for his newborn session this morning. What a gorgeous little guy! He was super cute, and after a drink of milk was happy to have a little sleep, while I took his photos! 

Oliver's Grandfather is a big Docker's Fan, so we tried a few shots with a Docker's Scarf & football. They turned out really lovely, so hopefully when Grandfather upwraps his Christmas present this year little Oliver will be the favourite grandchild! ;)

Maternity Session - Jennifer, Jeff & Samuel

Jennifer & Jeff chose to have their Maternity session at Whiteman Park... It was a special place for them as they often have picnics there, and spend a lot of family time with Samuel enjoying the playground & having fun watching the trains.

Jennifer is 37 weeks pregnant, and has also booked me for her birth photography, and her little one's newborn session. I am so honoured when people book me for their birth, and it is lovely that I get to share in that special journey with them, as I capture this beautiful "bump", then follow through with the labour & birth, then a newborn session when they are all settled in at home!

Family / Baby Session - Twins - Trey & Zach

I had a lovely evening with little identical twins Trey & Zach (& their Mummy & Daddy, Katrina & Michael). These gorgeous little men are almost 8 months old and full of energy & cuteness! 

Trey & Zach were so funny to watch them roll around while I took their photographs, and I had fun editing their photos - one with a lovely big grin, and the other pulling funny faces - just adorable! I had to use my speedlight for this shoot, as it was later in the evening, so the boys were a bit fascinated by it to begin with, but we still managed to get some fun shots!
